Tainan West Central District - This residence seems to be a meeting point between time and modernity. The exterior is wrapped in warm beige-toned paint, as if the historical memory of Hayashi Department Store quietly continues at the street corner. The building stands on the street, with the first and second-floor shops and upper residential floors maintaining their independence while echoing each other through design language, like a warm lighthouse in the city that both guards the family's daily life and welcomes the neighborhood's hustle and bustle. The open living room that extends from the third floor to the roof allows light and wind to flow freely, as if drawing the essence of sky and fields into the home, becoming the core where family gathers and laughter resonates.

The backyard is surrounded by tall neighboring buildings, requiring precise calculations and configurations to avoid fire separation opening restrictions while incorporating greenery and rest areas, creating a private corner for family relaxation. The fourth floor is planned as the parents' room, and the fifth floor as the owner's room, with each space featuring small living-dining areas that satisfy independent living needs while allowing family members to share warm moments together at any time. The overall design integrates the historical elements of Hayashi Department Store, modern living requirements, and local culture, creating a home that combines aesthetics, functionality, and emotional warmth.
